Is this the end of MySpace? It is very sad because MySpace was once the biggest online community. But I think everyone can learn from this. Once you are the market leader, you can’t sit back and wait until the concurrence strikes. FaceBook is now the biggest online community and they are always thinking about new concepts and ideas. That is the reason why FaceBook will exist and MySpace will disappear.

This is a big invention. We are able to use our own energy to charge electronic products. It will reduce the use of electricity which is good for the environment.

The end of advertising on buildings in the city of Amsterdam. I think that this decision, made by the local authority, is very important for the image of Amsterdam. The ads are disturbing the beautiful architecture of the buildings.

Trend watching is becoming more and more important in modern society. Trends are changing at every level, from megatrends trough consumer trends to …trends. It’s very important for entrepreneurs at every branch to know what will happen in the near future to be able to adapt to it. You can imagine the importance of trend watching when you think of the changes that are going on consequently from for instance the digitalization or sustainability.
Try imagining a world without weather forecast, never knowing what the weather will be next day. If you can imagine that you know what a world without trend watchers would be like for entrepreneurs.

The application to recognize music is already there. But the possibility to make a picture of someone and identify this person sounds like something that is impossible. Google is now creating an app that is been able to identify every user that is part of Facebook. Maybe for some it can be helpfull for me personaly it sounds a bit like scary because everyone can find my information on the streets.

According to the Central Bureau of Statistics in the Netherlands more and more Dutch people are shopping online. This is interesting for our target group! (Parents with children between 35-55) Maybe we can use a online campaign for Amsterdam including a shopping system.

Hello fellow coolhunters, followers and the rest of you..My name is Floris Wagenaar Hummelinck. I was born about 24 years ago in Amsterdam. I’m a student at the HVA and at the moment I study trends in de media, which has made me a “coolhunter”.

The statistics considering the amount of users of Facebook is enormous. The time spend by users a month is 700 billion minutes. Facebook isn’t only one of the biggest social networks it have also an enormous amount of active users! I guess we can say that people are obsessed by this network!
